DDS Office of Women & Children, which is part of the 16-day campaign to prevent violence against women, visited women in Alamuddin prison in Jigjiga. These female prisoners were given gifts and a luncheon organized by the Office of Women & Children, while the management of the office took a large meeting with the women prisoners . These women prisoners said that they are treated well and do not face any problems in the prison and they spend their time in education in various fields and handicrafts that are taught in the prison. Today they are very happy because the Office of Women & Children Affairs visited them and found out about their situation.
